Amanda started her racing career as a fan at Grandview Speedway. She was 2 years old but even then she had big dreams of driving a "big car" at Grandview one day. She was also a fan of Phoenixville Quarter Midget, where she watched drivers like Kevin and Brian Hirthler. Amanda wanted to race very badly up until age 4 but didn't actually get her start until age 9.

In quarter midgets Amanda called Phoenixville Raceway her home for her first two years. With little success in her first year, Amanda didn't let that stop her. She ran at many different tracks throughout the year but eventually called Blackbird Speedway in Delaware her new home. With a new car Amanda had more success, but she didn't want to stay in Quarter Midgets forever.

Her next step towards her dream was a Missile. These scaled down modifieds were the perfect step up. For her first year Amanda ran strictly Borgers Speedway where she achieved her first win in this class. Then the cars began to branch out and a tour was formed. This tour ran several different tracks and called Snydersville its Friday night home. These tracks included Ace High and Airport Speedway both of which Amanda won at. For Amanda's last season with the tour she ran double duty between the tour and her modified.

In September of 2003, TAK-FUL Motorsports purchased Amanda's modified. It was a Wednesday and by that Saturday Amanda was joining the ranks as a modified driver at Grandview Speedway. Amanda finished out that season running three races total at Grandview and Delaware International in a modified. Since then Amanda has completed two full seasons at Grandview and has added Big Diamond Raceway to her weekly agenda. She has become the first female to qualify for a feature event in a modified at both tracks. And in her rookie season Amanda received Best Newcomer and Most Popular Driver.

Looking forward to another event filled season, Amanda hopes to be a feature regular. She also looks forward to getting a feature win and someday driving a Big Block Modified.
